Lightning Joe's Guitar Heaven Haunted House

Each year since 2002 LIGHTNING JOE'S GUITAR HEAVEN hosts a haunted house at their shop. They call it "Lightning Joe's Haunted Passage". In fact the entire Village is open house to thousands of trick or treaters of all ages on All Hallows Eve from 3 pm in the afternoon till 5pm in the evening. Lightning stays open longer for the people who have to work that day, usually till 7pm or " 'till they stop comin' in ". There is no fee for the show which take the Lightnings about 36 hours to set up and another 18 hours to tear down. "We do it for the community". It has become the largest attraction in the Village on Halloween and a line forms at the Stairway to Heaven door, continues around the corner on Bridge Street and it's at least a block long during peak hours. Wait times can vary from 1 to 20 minutes and it's well worth the wait. The show features several live actors as well as a large variety of animatronics and special effects. After braving the Haunted Passage visitors are rewarded with Halloween treats. Check out the slide show below and catch some of the action...
