If you've never had the opportunity to get your greasy little fingers on a Ned Steinberg Design Double Bass you have got to do so as soon as you possibly can. Although I can only speak for this one and I'm having trouble controlling the volume of my voice. This is undoubtedly the most comfortable 5 string upright bass you'll ever play. The designers at NS have outdone themselves with this one. The bass facilitates set up in such a way that it is simply effortless to get the feel your looking for. The arrow straight neck and super low action allows you to get away with murder and easily display your very best fret board pyrotechnics, however after purchasing this thing new at a street price some where between $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 you could end up living in a van down by the river! Yet at our price for this one in mint condition with a stand and bag at only $2,600.00 you just might be able to continue living your familiar lifestyle but with a much heightened awareness of bass elation.
